Workshop Description

This interactive, hands-on workshop is designed for adult education instructors at all levels
of experience with artificial intelligence, from curious beginners to confident users.
Participants will explore how AI can be used as a practical teaching partner to save time,
reduce workload, and enhance instructional quality without replacing the human connection
that matters most in adult learning. Through guided demonstrations and structured
practice, instructors will learn how to use AI to quickly create lesson plans, classroom
activities, assessments, presentations, and differentiated instructional materials aligned to
adult learner needs. The session emphasizes real-world applications that streamline
planning and preparation, allowing educators to focus more energy on what truly makes an
impact: being present, responsive, and engaged with their students. By the end of the
workshop, participants will leave with AI-generated products they can immediately use in
their classrooms, along with ready-to-implement ideas, prompts, and resources that support
ethical, effective, and confident AI integration in adult education settings.
