“Adult Education Transitions” Satellite Video Conference

ACE of Florida, Inc. and the Florida Department of Education, Career and Adult Education, are pleased to announce the date of the third satellite video conference “Adult Education Transitions.” This exciting, high-impact event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 17, 10:00 – 12:00 noon, EST, and will cover topics including Career Pathways, Transition Planning and the importance of transition. The video conference will be broadcast live throughout Florida via the Florida Knowledge Network and the Florida Education Channel. The conference will also be streamed live through the web.
The target audience for this video conference is adult education directors, adult education counselors, teachers and transition specialists from schools, vocational/technical centers and community colleges. It is important to have the practitioners who are involved in the transition process participate in the satellite video conference. This would include all educators who are either sending or receiving students for the next step on the educational or career journey.
